No offer for Keshi – SAFA

No South Africa offer for Stephen Keshi – SAFA

Posted: 7 July 2014 Time: 05:40 pm

The South African Football Association would like to clarify further insinuations that the Association has offered Stephen Keshi the job as Bafana Bafana coach.

Reports coming through and carried out by several media outlets are quoting Mr Keshi alleging he has an offer on the table from SAFA.

“There is no iota of truth in this statement. SAFA has not offered any coach the Bafana Bafana coaching job and we don’t take kindly to such rumours,” said SAFA president Danny Jordaan from Brazil.

“It is not true because SAFA has not entered into a discussion with any coach or a representative of any coach,” he added.

First of all, Who is this Danny Jordaan, and what does he mean by \""they don't take kindly to such rumours?\"\" - So what is the threat being implied here then? Is this dude such a retard not to know that his statement just sounds stupid? So what is he going to do about \"such rumours\"? and against whom?? Please leave silliness behind I implore you! Wetin concern cowboy with agbero?? mtcheew!

Secondly, So who posted this senseless and irritating article? Why are you guys always letting yourselves down at every available turn? Who do you think cannot put two and two together and very quickly notice how you have actually attributed this article to it's \"so called\" correct sources - shockingly for the very first time ever? lol! Very funny indeed, you are behaving like another coward on here - akpoboa, who tries to hide his disgusting frequent personal attacks behind the anonymous veil - You are guilty of the same sir, but rest assured, I believe your identity will not be a mystery to SOK once he catches wind of this blatant broadside ! Ridiculous!

The Nigerian press would always peddle lies. I hope this rumor of Keshi going to South Africa would end.

@aldair on the KON main page posted: \"Keshi must go and coach Boko Haram not our Bafana Bafana.\"

The above is out there for all to see. This is NOT Jadijadi, but South Africans rejecting the jackass. He has no where to go - that's a little bit dangerous for Nigeria. I hope SA will change their mind and take him. We pray in the name of Allah!

Hey JudgeDredd, why are you all worked up and angry? In nut shell what Danny Jordaan is saying is \"We don't like such rumors \". The meaning of the idiom 'Take kindly to' means 'Dont agree'. So basically what he is saying is 'We dont agree with such rumor'. Next time, if you are unsure of the meaning of a word, there is Google there for you to seek. Dont be lazy by hiding behind your laptop raining abuses on someone that meant no harm.

Every useless news or insignificante chat that'l undermine d integrity of our coach, players or even our national team as a whole, is always a frontline news for KON and some ungrateful Nigerians.
Whether SOK goes to SA or not, my take is, he should leave this ungrateful national team for now, for a well deserved rest. Lets see what happens going forward

Listen my friend, don't try and explain the friggin meaning to me OK? We are obviously two different people with completely different ways of thinking and it is a free country, so allow me to say what I want, but like I just finished telling another stupid ITK like yourself, do not try and teach me nothing! Especially not a slow-coach like you!
Nonsense!

Keshi said \"It is not just South Africa that want me; only that they are the ones that have gone to the media to make it public. Lots of countries want me, if nothing good comes out of NFF. I will move my trade elsewhere,\".

Keshi words not mine...

@JudgeDred

South Africa hasn't sacked their coach so coming up with such rumor can cause problem between the Football Federation and the current coach. Mr. Jordan is right not to take kindly to it. Try and understand his position bro.

@Ortega what happens going foward will be good news as long as Keshi is gone.. any coach who does not want to build on success but rather feels that one bit of success makes him or her for that matter inclined to feeling like the supreme being is not needed in a team that is in the proccess of progressive improvement and developement. Keshi is not what Nigeria needs right now especially when we have whole lot of Talent spread that needs intergrating into the national team on merit raw skill and ability not sentiments.. This os not time for somebody who feels he is gof and can achieve anything with out the right tools.

Keshi feels that he is the best coach in the world and that with or without a talented squad he van win trophes just because he won the nations cup. well he got a rude awakeing whether hehas learnt his lesson or not Most Nigerians dont care to know he had his chance and he blew it. We dont need his arrogance again especially when we have so much talent that needs to be intergrated into the squad and we need a coach who has a mentality of only the best must wear the green and white.. Thank @Ortega and Keshi lovers if you dont like that then please go and supporr Keshi at his next job at another country or club

Millers of God - Thanks, but I understand such implications anyway, I just do not like that Jordaan guy and Ive said it before, so don't watch that, i knew what I was doing there,
These South Africans have to understand that there is nothing special in their country that is not found in other countries, if anything they are behind us in terms of recognisable world statistics. They should stop feeling like there is something, because there is nothing for those guys. Even if they are lucky enough to get a coach of SOK's caliber, they should consider themselves very fortunate indeed with the kind of talent to be found on those shores (or not as the case may be lol!)

Names have started going round amid reports
that Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi has made
up his mind to resign from his position as
Nigeria’s national team manager despite minister
of Sports Dr. Tammy Danagogo having waded
into the crisis between him and the embattled
Nigeria Football Federation.
Supersports reports that the coach who led
Nigeria to the 2014 World Cup and became the
first Nigerian coach to lead the Eagles to the
Knockout stages of the mundial has even
confirmed the approach of the South African FA.
South Africa Football Association (SAFA) would
wish to employ the charismatic coach ahead of
the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers which
begin in September.
Incidentally African champions, Nigeria will face
South Africa in the final rounds of qualifiers for
the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations on September 10
(at home) and November 19, 2014 (away).
“The South Africa Football Association has been
very vocal about their intentions to have me as
their next national team,” Keshi said.
“I am done. I have finished my assignment with
the team. I have had enough of all the politics
and games and intrigues of handling the national
team.”
South Africa did not qualify for the 2014 World
Cup but SAFA have its eyes firmly on the 2018
finals to be hosted by Russia.

I am a solid fan of SOK, but if he wants to leave, we should allow him to leave. It would be naive for SOK to claim he is not aware of the ineptitude that has invested NFF from the ages past. Keshi has always been part of the sytem. He witnessed first-hand the hell people in the glass house put Amadu through. This is Nigeria babe, it is the norm here. What I think is: he has penned down a lucrative deal somewhere and wants to leave (which is fine) for a pay day. Let's move on from Keshi if he insists on leaving , he has gallantly served this nation and majority of this country honor his service and we are not taking non of his glory away from him. But this is Nigeria, no matter your accomplishments, there are some elements among us that will not see any good in you. This comes with the job and Keshi of all people should know this.

Ke$hi is the one that keeps naming SA, while also claiming five other countries were after him. Let's not blame the press. Ke$hi is always the architect of his own destruction because of his lack of tact and obvious illiteracy. Again, he is being ridiculed as usual. Always talking first before thinking. When will he learn? Now foul yansh don open, so where are the six countries biko nu? Lol
