No talking for Efe until Final

Defender Efe Ambrose says he will not be doing any interviews until Nigeria get to the Afcon Final.

Ambrose, who has filled in at right back during the tournament, picked up a red card in Nigeria's opening game against Burkina Faso and has not spoken since.

But the defender says the red card is not the reason for his silence.

"I don’t think there is anything to say now.

"I just don’t want to say anything until we get to the Final. Then, there will be something to say."

Nigeria face a daunting route to that goal, with Cote d'Ivoire the immediate hurdle.

But the Celtic man remains resolute in his resolve.

"Let's wait until the Final."

Thank you bro. Footballers play football, politicians campaign, telling the world what they can and cannot do. It is better to spend the time training and strategizing. More so, you are not the captain or the couch. Coaches and players should let their legacies be on the pitch not in their philosophical rhetoric.

People are talking about IVORY COAST it will just be like David and Goliath, but God is there for David, they forget that it is football and anything can happen, Ivory Coast will just play 10 Minutes and they gets red card then the game will just finish there and Naija will just carry the day.. it is truth that we don't yet have solid teams but God is with us.
